About Me: I’m from Lodi, California. I recently finished my first year of college at Brigham Young University. I LOVED it and will return there after my mission and major in Dietetics. When you submit your request to serve a mission you can be sent anywhere in the world! I remember telling my Grandma that I hoped I would be sent somewhere Spanish speaking and warm – “like Ecuador”. Even though I actually didn’t know anything about Ecuador (I figured it was warm because it’s near the equator – haha). I was thrilled to open my letter that called me to serve in Quito, Ecuador. I know I am where I’m supposed to be.
About my Family:
My dad, Scott, is a financial adviser. He served a mission in Belgium/France when he was my age! My mom, Jill, is a graphic designer. I’m the oldest of five children. Alissa is my best friend and will be attending BYU as a freshman in Fall 2016. She is majoring in graphic design. Connor will be a Junior in High School. He loves sports, especially water polo and is enjoying the new freedom of driving. Ryan will be a Freshman in High School, he loves sports, reading, and dry humor. Natalie is a joyful 10 year old. She loves to sing, play soccer, and make movies.
I’m excited to have the opportunity to be a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Therefore, let us glory, yea, we will glory in the Lord; yea, we will rejoice, for our joy is full; yea, we will praise our God forever. Behold, who can glory too much in the Lord? Yea, who can say too much of his great power, and of his mercy, and of his long-suffering towards the children of men? Behold, I say unto you, I cannot say the smallest part which I feel. (Alma 26:16)
